In 2009 the Bonfire Committee decided to branch out and produce its first Panto.
After all of the past bonfires 'Cinders' seemed the natural choice!
(...did you see what we did there)!
The event was a good source of community camaraderie and huge success with all four performances selling out and t
he 'Welshampton Independent Express Telegraph on Sunday' giving it 6 out of 5 rating!
This was followed in 2010 with 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'.  More singing, music, general theatrical silliness, a talking wheel barrow and of course, bears!

2012 introduced the first of our departures from the well worn panto format with "All Fired Up!" An all (well mostly) original scrip written and directed by members of the committee about a little known visit to the village by dragons!

In 2013 we were "resting" but 2014 saw us return with "Pirates Ahoy". An all star cast brought us the story of Moscow island, monster pike and pirates. The show included a real pirate ship!
2015 Saw a return to our story of how the railway came to Welshampton that featured in the 2006 bonfire.
In 2016 we traveled in time! and in 2017 a touch of the Wild West came to our little village with "Fools Gold"

From time to time our team take to the road and provide our form of entertainment at local events
A typical example being "A Right Royal Rumpus" performed at the Ellesmere Diamond Jubilee event
